I predict that the early part of 2012 will be known for when the passions run wild and supportive FOR Sarah Palin.

And those that openly despise and ridicule her will be “branded” so to speak. They will become the “uncool” trend of the year, the has beens, the whiners, the losers, the disciples of evil.

Mark my words.

Are you seeing evidence this could occur in the general public? If so, please point to it, because I'm not seeing it.

I tend to agree with you. Unbeknownst to the general public and quite frankly, most FReepers is that there is a fairly large groundswell of Palin supporters urging her to reconsider and take the plunge. If the now running candidates fail to catch fire soon, she may feel compelled to jump in the race.

The success of the tea party electing candidates in other races is going to suffer if the top of the GOP ticket is incapable of exciting the electorate. As things stand now, it doesn't look good.
