Imho, this important issue regarding the Salvation Army has been hijacked. I think it stinks.It was not my intention to hijack the thread. I simply responded to the Salvation Army policy statement with what is (as I understand it) the Halakhic position. Then everyone got mad at me.
Let's just say that Catholicism and Judaism/Noachism are different religions and don't agree on everything 100% and leave it at that.

There are plenty of thread in the Religion Forum to discuss Jewish vs. Christian beliefs, this thread is about abortion.
As for the absurd notion that Judaism is fine with a great many abortions, it should be pointed out that this is a PRO-LIFE forum.

I just assumed this thread was in the Religion Forum, and engaged the debate under that assumption. I did not realize until now it is in the news forum.
