I’ve thought for some time that the Duggars have been using the pregnancies during the show as drama to keep the show going. This is just one more example and I find it a bit disturbing.
Yep, that's why I'm having a baby, too ... love the drama. It has nothing to do with the natural process that occurs when a husband and wife are fond of one another, one thing leads to another ...
“.....I find it a bit disturbing.”
Then you’re the one with a problem. What’s disturbing about acknowledging that a baby existed & has now passed??
Well, lmr, the Duggars are raising a passle of well-behaved, well-adjusted kids— on Jim Bob’s and Michelle’s dimes, not a government handout. What disturbs you about that? In this loss, they share a pro-life message. What disturbs you about that?
I do not watch the show but it seems to me that you are making an assumption based on a personal opinion with facts not in evidence.
Here’s disturbing:
Like Mrs. Duggar, I too lost a child in the second trimester. I didn’t have the luxury of being able to say good bye to my child the way the Duggars were able to.
My last memory is one of a nurse hurrying away from me in a hospital bathroom with my child in a cardboard cup. I never even knew whether it was a boy or a girl.
I’d have given anything to be able to grieve that loss the way the Duggars were able to. For me, losing my child is an awful, sterile memory.
