Now some South Korean paper(s) is stating in fact he died of a coup d’ etat and died nearly two months ago. That of course would mean that they had faked footage of his on the spot visits during that time from actual death to announcement of death. Who knows? Might be a plausible explanation as to the long absence of the main female announcer exclusively dedicated to Kim Jong il reporting, on Pyongyang State TV since nearly two months ago. Of course it is a big rumor mill out there.

The speculation started because the female announcer was absent for 50 days and suddenly showed up on TV announcing Kim’s death. Many figure her absence and his death were related. Hence, they suspect that he died and that led her to disappear for the duration. Somehow everything is under control now, and she is allowed to show up on TV, reporting the news. That is how the story goes.

I wondered about that...Kim wasn't real keen about a sucessor to begin with, and according to his private chef, (who flew the cookoo's nest some time ago), Kim wouldn't allow discussion of this for quite awhile there,, so nobody dared bring it up.
