Cobra Ball is one of the many flavors of the RC-135. It has a powerful missile tracking radar, such that the cockpit has to be heavily shielded. It was used to track Soviet warheads landing in the Pacific during missile tests.

Cobra Ball was used to spy on missile launch tests and satellites after launch.
Officially a Boeing RC-135, it has ‘cheek pouches’ and differing sensor gear.
