Cutting the amount of money that goes into the SS fund(if it really existed) simply destroys the fund much quicker which is what the regime wants. Destroy the fund and everyone will look to big govt. to sustain SS.
And where is Boehner's head at? He should be the first to say NO and instead offer a income tax break for wage earners(not tax credits for freeloaders)instead.

I have chosen Newt who isnt even in my three favorites, but this choice has to be made to beat the Country Club.
Well, I agree. I’m for Newt right now. Whether he’ll be running an active campaign in May when I vote is another matter. I’m basically for him because he won’t be “persuaded” out of the race—I think. I hope. I pray.
But hey...maybe I’ll get a bumper sticker made up.
“Vote Newt. He ain’t Romney.”

He also said that his instincts tell him that Gingrich has weathered the onslaught of attacks that have been heaped upon him and that he remains stronger than the people in Washington think he is. Wow! Rather shocking, coming from Kristol. Maybe he wants an interview?

It is surprising. I wouldn’t trust Kristol though. At least no further than I could throw a Grand piano.

Newt Gingrich got to talk on FTN. It was a good interview. I think you made a wise choice, going for MTP because FNS is all Romney.
I am about to hear the panel now. My husband just got home from Church so he wanted to see FNS from the beginning which made me watch it again from the start. Just what I wanted to see: Romney twice: NOT.
Merry CHRISTmas llandres !!!

I just don't know if we can (kick them out). We elected numerous people we thought were Conservatives (in the House) in 2010, only to see some of them corrupted by the existing power structure. In regards to RINOs taking over the party, I think it's actually been their party for a number of years now. We (as Conservatives) have chosen to pretend it still represents us. I'm all done pretending.< p> Understood.
It will take some time to gut the party of rinos. In the meantime our best bet its to relentlessly attack these McCainesque clowns with all we have until they get it that we are not going away and that the party is trending conservative and it will be a conservative party. It will and can work,IMHO.

How does one influence top Republicans when one is NOT a lobbyist with money to throw around?
If Bachmann had any proof she would have used it.
It’s Bachmann just tossing out allegations again. I am so done with her.

Sorry for my generalizations. I guess I'm guilty of the same thing I condemn others for. My underlying frustration is that the media are once again trying to determine our candidates. Perhaps i need to differentiate Left-Wing Smear jobs from the media, and legitimate criticisms from the GOP voting base. I think sometimes i might blur these lines when it's my candidate in question.
I will say here; with the possible exception of Mittens and Paul, I'll vote for whomever the GOP nominee is in the general. Right now I'm really liking Newt...even with some of his past baggage.
Obama is the real enemy.

Hope one of our guys is smart enough to ask the how much is enough question.
When you ask that question and keep coming back repeatedly with 'how much is enough' when they try to obfuscate, it stops them in their tracks. I have yet to see a direct answer to the question.
Exactly, it works every time its tried.
Hate to say it where I heard it from-- "Lindsay Graham" last week, hard to image. But,makes my point if you nail these rinos they will come around. At least until we can get rid of them and vote in true conservatives.

Not so sure I have all this strategy down. I think the idea is to put pressure on zero to sign on to the Keystone pipeline over the 60 days or we start in on him again.I think that is the plan.

I just caught a few minutes of Howie's shows on CNN, and one of the guests had a caption which said he is the Sports Editor at “The Nation.” That must be a very lonely job, because what do the other people there want to talk about with him? Since the editor looks like Cruella DeVille, I thought the only sport they would follow would AKC shows. And I'm not sure that is actually a sport.

Her approval rating in SC is only 35%? She said its a local poll! She also said the poll had Obama winning SC in 2012. That alone should raise questions about the credibility of the poll.

Anyway, the Sports Editor at "The Nation" is, not surprisingly, very concerned about the attention paid to Tim Tebow and his extreme views on religion, and how Mr. Tebow is willing to express his opinion ......
EVERY TIME SOMEBODY SHOVES A CAMERA OR MICROPHONE IN HIS FACE. Thank nobody we have the Sports Editor at "The Nation" to keep us all in line.

Probably like Mitten’s Religion, the state run media is just waiting until the nomination is final to bring up Newt’s Freddie Mac consulting.

The Tea Party is a non-hierarchical group centered around a general set of principles. No one speaks for the Tea Party nationally or at the state level. Each Tea Party group does its own thing.
