Ok....CynicalBear, whom does God say should be the one “eradicating”? Why do some here on FR hate Islam? Aren’t there some radical Christians that make our side look horrible?
Eradicate? Christians don’t “eradicate” anyone. One the other hand, Jesus did have some things to say about who we associate with and accept into our “house”. He definitely let us know how he treats those who think those who “preach another gospel” are just fine and that we should bless them like we do other Christians.
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8-9
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Now, you can go right ahead and do as you wish but that last sentence above tells me pretty plainly what to think and do.

Well, let’s look at what they hold as their holy book and commands from the god they serve.
Have no unbelieving friends. Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them. 4:89
When you fight with disbelievers, do not retreat. Those who do will go to hell. 8:15-16

Here’s a distinct difference between Islam and Christianity.

On the following day she said: ‘Allah’s messenger, why do you turn me away? ... By Allah I have become pregnant.’ He said ‘Well, if you insist upon it, then go away until you give birth.’ When she was delivered she came with the child (wrapped) in a rag, and said ‘Here is the child whom I have given birth to.’ He said ‘Go away and suckle him until you wean him.’ When she had weaned him, she came to him (the Holy Prophet) with the child who was holding a piece of bread in his hand. She said ‘Allah’s Apostle, here is he as I have weaned him and he eats food.’ He (the Holy Prophet) entrusted the child to one of the Muslims and then pronounced punishment. And she was put in a ditch up to her chest and he commanded people and they stoned her. (Sahih Muslim 4206)
