That time, after the Civil War, forced many of my ancestors to go GTT (Gone to Texas). Others were already here. i lived in a liberal blue-state area a few years and, being a native Texan, i couldn't WAIT to come back home. When i did, i wrote "G.T.T." on a piece of paper and taped it to my office door. My gawsh, that felt good. I don't even know if they knew what it meant. Didn't care, either. It was just something i felt compelled to do at the time. lol!
These hyphenated American congressmen make my blood boil. If their race-based solidarity with foreign criminals is stronger than their oath to protect America, they should leave this country and move to the failed hell hole they really love. We don't need them.

Outsiders simply do not understand. But that is OK, it will probably keep them away. hee hee hee
Now, Okies understand. Put away football (I don’t watch sports at all) and we have a great deal in common.
Remember when the CW happened and TX joined the Confederacy, Sam Houston refused to go along. He was so unpopular for that stance that he left TX and went to live with the Indians in OK. (he married one of them from what I read, he was married several times).

(Government, even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one)

Welcome to FR! ....I’m a Native Born Texan, since my parents were born in Texas and some gr-grands were here (1820s) before it was a Republic . Feels good!
Your posting of a GTT sign gave me a laugh.
