The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.
We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.
Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.
Mitt is holding steady, just as he always does. But I’d like to think he needs to do more than that.
Newt, on the other hand, can’t fail to impress every time he opens his mouth.
Paul really deserved an answer from Newt asking him why if the radical Muslims are just attacking the U.S. “because we bomb them,” why have they also committed attacks in Spain, Great Britain, France, India, the Philippines, Russia, etc.?
Newt newt newt newt!!
My impressions are that Bachmann and Newt did best in this debate - even when they were going after each other.
Perry had his best debate yet.
Santorum and Huntsman did well.
Romney basically treaded water.
Ron Paul is certifiable.

Fox butchering this debate. They are no better than the other networks. Brit sent out the hit Newt memo. You can tell.
Megyn was all over her afternoon show lambasting Newt on the court thing.....the lawyer in her is bring out her inner pit bull. Down girl down!
What he said was I have already called for an over fly, uh, no flyzone..
It was no major gaffe and the truth is Perry is the only candidate that is talking about a no flyzone over Syria, something that much of the middle east wants.
They want Romney.
Pat Caddell is offering the best commentary of them all.
Then she'd be the b**** Sarah has way more class.

Paul is completely rational and even intelligent when he talks about the economy. Just say the word ‘Iran’ though and he goes moonbatz crazy. LOL
Yes, I think it was. Newt has gotten a lot of applause tonight.

Michelle pounding Obama on the Keystone Pipeline - saying what I have been wishing SOMEONE would step up & say ... Obama selling out our national security for votes. When Michelle attacks Obama, I like her a lot - when she goes after the other candidates, not so much.
