The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign announced today the release of its latest ad, 'Selling Access', another two-minute web video aimed at former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, calling him out as a corrupt Washington insider who got rich through influence-peddling.
The video, which the campaign plans to promote prominently on conservative web sites, includes a clip of Gingrich calling himself an 'insider' and another in which the former Speaker brags about getting paid $60,000-a-speech. The video comes after the viral success of Paul's earlier web ad, 'Serial Hypocrisy', which criticizes Gingrich for many of the same issues.

I’m not a Paul supporter, but everything in the add is true.
One of my measures for politicians is how much wealth did they have at the beginning of their DC career and how much did they have leaving after politics? It appears Newt has done very well for himself. Does the old saying “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you” apply here?
When is Wrong Paul going to run an ad about all the pork money he gets for his district?
Selling access?
That’s from the guy who’s been in the government for 40 years, raking in millions of dollars running for President, and setting up his son as a Senator?
Access to what? What exactly is corrupt in getting paid for making speeches that organizations are willing to pay for?
Is this an episode of “Dumb, Dumber, Dumberer and Dumbest”?
“When is Wrong Paul going to run an ad about all the pork money he gets for his district?”
Must have missed the message that Ron Paul is perfect.
Newt Gingrich = the ultimate D.C. insider.
Let’s face the facts here.
>> Must have missed the message that Ron Paul is perfect. >>
No way to miss that message. :)
Where is Ron Paul’s video on Mitt Romney ?
Oh yeah, he’s hasn’t been going after Romney.
Newt was pretty much almost broke after leaving Congress and leaving most of his money, made from writing books, in the divorce to his second wife, Marianne, who he has been supporting despite their separation in 1987.
He wrote more than 20 books, was a highly sought speaker at political and educational events, and with his wife Callista, built several companies and conservative organizations from scratch (as WSJ article described it, "Newt, Inc.")

You state: “Im not a Paul supporter, but everything in the add is true.”
...sliming half truths. Tells more about Paul than Gingrich. Totally disgusting individual.
For example - Of these scheighty eight ethics charges - how many was he found guilt of? You MUST know if you can pontifically pronounce Paul’s charges all true, right?
Let me refresh your memory, tho’, just in case.
After 3 years of feverish digging, they only were able to find in ‘guilty’ of only ONE - for which he was fined $300,000. It has to do with a charge of using tax dollar funds to teach a college course including politics.
He took their word for it - apologized and paid the fine.
OOPS! Funny thing happened. Later, as a result of the IRS looking these all over, they found he was INNOCENT of that charge - perfectly legal college course - no politics.
but did Newt get his $300,000 back? No. Did he get an apology? No. Did the media spend even 1/100ths time and ink of his exoneration as three years on his ‘disgrace?”
NO.
Was the lefts usual attack and destroy methods successful?
Yes.

Do clueless Sheeple dutifully swallow their lies without doing independent research?
YES. (look in the mirror)
Yes exactly. Newt met with Rupert Murdoch on a Park Bench concerning problems Murdoch was having with Congress. (foreign ownership of Media outlet) Then Newt got a 4 million dollar book deal from Murdochs Harper-Collins. When even Republicans started screaming about the legality, Newt AND Murdoch CHANGED THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. Newt had to pay a $300,000 fine to the Congress for that.
But guess what Rupert Murdochs problems went away.
Murdoch is NOW having SERIOUS problems with investigations of his News Corps. Who do you think Fox wants to be President. That has got to be worth more than a measly 4 mill.
This is the way Newt has always worked money talks BS walks.
Maybe we’ll have a new term...To Big To Investigate.
Started out worth $10,000 and left worth 7 million. Wow and all that on a Congressman’s salary /s
Yes, indeed, Ron Paul - the truth peddler - or ‘truther’
Indeed this is a man I can believe -
quote:
“Do you know who the latest Zionist on the block is? Its the man who called Israel, an aggressive, national socialist state and suggested that the original World Trade Center bombing may have really been carried out by Israel.”

I can believe he’s a disgusting, lying nut case.
What is untrue about this video.
I have been politically active all of my life (starting at 17)
Newt is not new to me. So save it. Paul will not get the nomination. He seems more interested in getting his ideology out.
When the Republicans kicked Newt out of Congress. (he resigned due to NO support. What happened to the guy that became Speaker. Within days an ANONYMOUS source told the media that the new speaker had an affair many years ago. He and his wife were still together and it was history. But everyone at the time knew full well it was a Newt dirty trick.
BTW did you know Newt started out as a campaign official for Rockefeller. (Of Rockefeller Republican fame)

Bob Livingston, I presume?
The point I was making back to the Cain issues, was that the only person who lost his job because of "Monica Gate" was Bob Livingston.....While I wish our candidates could be pure as the driven snow, it's just not reality, and playing this game only benefits the Democrats.
marty marty maty - you’re beginning to sound like a Wrong Paul sycophant.
And the $300,000 was NOT for what you state - and what he did pay it for - the IRS found him not guilty...
once more - if you continue using Paul’s tactics of half/twisted truths, people will know what to think about you - as well as the nut case.

The latest Let’s play nice mantra with Gingrich’s accompanying smirk makes me want to puke.
I can’t stand Paul. His positions are totally off the wall.
