Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, not known for reticence in making right-wing pronouncements or speaking his mind, opted Monday not to share his thoughts on US Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrichs recent remark that the Palestinians are an invented people.
After spending the better part of a press conference Monday defending recent comments he made in Russia about the legitimacy of the elections there, Lieberman when asked by The Jerusalem Post about Gingrichs comments laughed and said he did not want to interfere in the internal matters of another country.

He’s loving it
What I like about Newt is he can have a 2 hour class on the Ottoman Empire history and tell of how the Palestinians wanted to be called Syrians until recently. The name "Palestine" comes from the European form of Philistine. I don't know exactly when it was coined, but it is probably less than 150 years old. They didn't want to be called Palestinian until the middle 1900's.
What controversy the msm is trying to generate? Newt just spoke the truth and msm can handle it..

I understand why they didn’t comment on it. They are living under the Islamic Gun, surrounded by these vermin who even live in Israel.
But as you say, I’m sure he’s loving Gingrich’s VERY ACCURATE description of these hardline Jordanians calling themselves “Palestinians”.
