From the mouth of babies, is the saying, “if he repels no more than McCain”, obummer wins. Was that not what happened before with those numbers.

Well, yeah - that *is* what happened. This is not a 2008 redux, though. Obama no longer has the carefully crafted image of the vaguely-defined bringer of hope and change. The hope turned out to be false and the change wasn't welcome.

John Kerry (of Vietnam fame) got 51% of the female vote. I suspect that's close to what Obama will get this time (and then only because of heavy support from minority women).
