From the Contract With America, both, the Balanced Budget Amendment and Term Limits for Congress were voted on and failed to pass. Plus, all of the Contract With America items were profoundly watered down, before the final votes were taken.

I did not say I liked Savage. I think he is delussional. And I too have often wondered if he was a sleeper agent. However, there are things that he says that are right. His true feelings on those...I can't judge.

However, to say he is NEVER right. You don't believe he's right when he states the white male is being marginalized? You don't believe he's right when he states there is a net loss of revenue due to illegal immigration? You don't believe he's right when he states the media are vermin? You don't believe he's right when he dissagrees with instate tuition for illegals? You don't believe he's right when he states Obama is a complete failure and a neo-marxist?

So disagree with him all the time if you will...but I tend to hold those opinions as well.

“Today Beck said that if Newt got the nomination, he’d support RuPaul as a 3rd party candidate.”

How does that make any sense? A 3rd party run insures an obammy victory. Does he think bammy is better than Newt?

I have not posted/replied on this site for ages, but this is too important to ignore.

Michael Savage is a nut case. He is EXACTLY the type of person that gets Conservatives labeled as insane. Sure, some of his statements are accurate, but his entire mode of operation, in order to get attention and ratings, is to be as controversial as possible.

Look, Newt certainly is not perfect, but if we have any real aspirations of electing someone who is truly compentent and intelligent and reasonably Conservative as President, we need to stand with Newt Gingrich.

The past is the past. Stand with him against the personal attacks that are sure to rain down; Stand with him on his more than reasonable vision of America’s future, (Yes FUTURE), and let’s get this man elected, and end the nonsense of Obama.

Above all, refuse to condone the show boat radicalism of either the extreme left or extreme right. Michael Savage is the absolute wrong person to be driving any realistic Conservative platform.

Savage conceded that Romney is “not as strong a conservative as many would like him to be,” but listed the reasons why he thinks Gingrich is a threat to Republicans.
How much was Savage paid to pimp for Romney?

One million dollars from the campaign of the guy who was willing to wager $10,000?

Why doesn’t he pay Obama to not run?

Obama—like Perot—may just quit.

You heard it here—first! :)

I do not believe Savage truly believes what he sometimes says on his program. Most of his program is a platform to plug himself. The rest is just fodder for the purpose of keeping some semblance of an audience. Just because he makes statements on issues, occasionally, that you find agreement in does NOT mean that Savage holds the same values as you do. He’s a shill.

..."he is... a fat, old, white man.”

What's wrong with that? Are we supposed to reject a candidate on the basis of appearance, ageism or skin color? Find something substantive to complain about, Savage.

I'm still not firmly in any of the GOP's offerings. But hey, I object to the "fat, old and white" pejorative.

“come off badly compared to Obama and look like nothing more than what he is: a fat, old, white man.”

Savage is an obama lover - he actually sees obama better than Newt. It's amazing how this hotair idiot reveals really what's inside of him. Wonder if his listeners will finally see through him or are they thoroughly brainwashed.

Gingrich should counter offer Savage a million dollars to retire and get off the radio!

Mark Levin offered him $100,000 yesterday on his show to do just that!

Savage (Weiner) donated $5000 to Jerry Brown. He's a long time San Francisco , Berkley Marxist. Savage is a con man putting on a “conservative” act to make millions off of duped listeners/followers. Still savage manages to further his agenda by helping to destroy any opposition to democrats and socialism. Savage didn't like Palin, and now Gingrich. Of course savage would go for Romney. Savage is a liberal/Marxist/democrat plant that is like the ABC/CBS/CNN liberals out to further socialism/liberalism.

I only tuned in to Savage during the Clinton years because he was so caustic and mocking of them, which I enjoyed. But then I began to notice that what he was ACTUALLY doing was undermining criticism of them by going overboard in his antics. He was amusing for awhile, but then started sounding like and insane maniac, day after day after day, and then one day I finally recognized the obvious - he was painting Clinton critics as maniacs.

What fooled me for so long is that he didn't have to make up any content - he'd just read what they did from the wire. The embellishment was emotional, not factual, which, of course, helped hide the Clinton depravities and treasons in plain sight all the better.

There's probably CIA shrink money behind his acts. And now, of course, his push for Romney is a push to guarantee a Rat win, whether Obama or Hillary. But ultimately, Hillary is his keeper.

He can toss out a mil when he asks for money for his legal fund? I don’t get it.

Didn't know he did that but it's obvious now he's a shyster - among other things - just like Mitt. Raising funds from listeners under, in turn, to get his big gov't man elected.

“We are screwed with either one of these two as the nominee. I don’t like Romney...he’s a democrat...and I don’t like Gingrich...he’s a RINO in sheep’s clothing.”

Yes. We’re screwed either way. Gingrich is a RINO (as well as having an ego the size of Obama’s!), and Romney is a closet Democrat. We do not have a good dog in the hunt. I am really worried about the future of our country now.
