The particular break action single shots I used were Brazilian made and had a detacheable foregrip to which I attached a vertical foregrip, so the weapon could be held by the off hand while loading and cocking the hammer with the strong hand. The last ones I made sold like hotcakes at the local gunshows and I gave the very last one to my ex for home defense. The system I used to attach the foregrips allows for attaching a laser, also and or flashlight.

The great thing about the break action shotguns is that they can be disassembled and carried in a back pack so easily, and there are many different rounds for shotguns now. A 20 gage sabot round will drop a kodiak bear!

I’d like a thumbhole type stock on mine, with a trough running down the top of the stock where I can slide a fresh shell into the chamber.
