I have no idea as to the facts of the matter and what his actual choices were. I would find it hard to believe that he would choose to give up the technology rather than destroy it. Maybe the military will leak something about it or Congress investigate the facts. If Obama made such a decision, he should be impeached.

The first thing that crossed my mind was: "Was it deliberately 'given' to Iran - maybe on orders from China."
