Glenn Beck has made no secret of how much he dislikes Newt Gingrich not even to Newt Gingrichs face. But he has yet to confront his supporters until last night, when he reasoned to Freedom Watch host Judge Andrew Napolitano that there was very little difference between Gingrich and President Barack Obama so much so that the only possible explanation for Tea Partiers rallying around Gingrich is Obamas race.

Huh? We’re supporting Gingrich now because they wouldn’t let us have Cain.
To: Berlin_Freeper
Glenn Beck has lost his mind.

Well, Glen is a student of History and he always looks at history with a hard eye. He really doesn't buy into the revisionist history that is so often being pushed.
BTW, for those of you who think he supports Mitt, think again, he's a Bachmann supporter.

LOL somebody needs to check the batteries in the sarcasm detector.
I don’t like Gingrich or Obama so I must be seeking a true alien president or something.

I like Beck.
But he’s completely wrong on this.
He needs to understand that the center in this country really does prefer the “socialist-lite” ideology.
Too socialist and they run the other way.
Too conservative and they run the other way.
Gingrich is perfect for them because he is a socialist lite/progressive, but not as drastic as Obammie the Commie.
I don’t know of any Tea Partiers that would have chosen him from the complete lineup. Those that do, I assume, do so not because of race, but because they want someone “less socialist” to run that they believe actually has a chance of winning. Newt definitely has that potential. But hey, I thought McCain had that potential for the same reasons, so what do I know?

Beck is rino.
Nothing wrong for Newt to support Amnesty, cap-and-trade, global warming, fairness doctrine, ethanol subsidies and attack conservatives /s
Well at least he fliplopped on most of these, except amnesty

Glenn Beck has always had issues. One of the things that makes watching him interesting is waiting for the meltdowns.
He’s got that in common with Newt actually.

Agreed, I'm a bit tired of that moronic nonthinking fantasy. If he were supporting a mormon, it would probably be Huntsman since he and John Huntsman Sr are close friends.
Beck doesn't endorse anyone but he's long been a vocal supporter of both Cain and Bachmann.
