Cost...hospitals can’t turn away emergency room care EVEN if the person is uninsured..or rarely do they ever turn away a pregnant woman, gun shot victim, drug over dose patient and do you think the “private sector” picks up the tab? hospitals get stuck with the bills so YOU the taxpayer pick it up in some hidden taxes.
Some are using the free healthcare on the backs of others...some from the womb to the tomb...who pays? the taxpayer

To pay for tending to the uninsured, hospitals prescribe unnecessary and often dangerous tests and procedures for the insured. And overcharge for them. Particularly if they have a financial interest in the testing process. There are good doctors who take their oaths seriously. But too many of them don’t. It’s not all due to lawyers.
