I completely agree. This probably would have been a VERY GOOD debate forum. I’m sure that Trump would not have asked any gotcha questions, but would have asked insightful (not inciteful) questions on business, Fed regulations, the economy, etc. Would have been a way for the candidates to shine on what their proposals/advice would be on fixing the economy (and bringing up what Reagan did to stimulate it in the past).

I gather Sarah Palin suggested it would have been a great forum for all the candidates, as it would have brought a slice of the American public that wouldn't normally listen to these debates.

I thought she nailed it (as usual), the candidates blew it, and all so they wouldn't offend the RNC (romneybots), or the MSNBC/CNN crowd......
