Because its the truth! Newt is a D.C. Insider and has a Washington D.C. Mindset.....I baffle about how many conservatives which to look the other way on Newts past and present just because he’s the “supposedly” last viable Anti-Romney available. I don’t like Romney but if Newt has to be the nominee then don’t try to make him something that he’s not

This is a real problem.

The expectations some are building up for Gingrich are incredible. When Bad Newt invariably shows up, some of his new best friends will be the first to abandon him. Then what?

If the next President cannot or will not *inspire* conservatives, forgetit. The country is not going to make it.

And Gingrich is already *not inspiring.* Sure, to some, he's thrilling in a "hit him again, Joey!" sort of way. But that is quite different from being able to inspire a movement. Add to that natural deficit a tendency to tell conservatives to take it on the chin at the most inopportune time -- this spells potential disaster.
