A Macys department store employee in San Antonio, Texas, has been fired for not allowing a cross-dressing young man to return to the womens dressing room, according to a law firm that specializes in religious freedom cases.
Natalie Johnson said she told the young man politely that he could not go back into the dressing room after seeing him exit the womens fitting room, reported Liberty Counsel, a group of advocacy lawyers.
Johnson said the man was wearing make-up and girls clothing and told her that he is a female. The cross-dresser was accompanied by five other individuals, who argued with expletives that Macys was LGBT-friendly, according to Liberty Counsels statement.
The Macys employee reportedly said to the group that the company is also non-discriminatory toward religion, and that it would go against her religious beliefs to lie that he was a woman or compromise with homosexuality.
After receiving a complaint from the group, the Macys manager informed Johnson of the companys LGBT policy which allows transgender people to change in any dressing room they desire. Johnson argued that the same policy also protects against religious discrimination. She felt her beliefs were being violated, say Liberty Counsel officials.
Johnson was reported to have been fired for refusing the managers request to follow the company LGBT policy, saying she would not go against her religious beliefs.
Macys policy which allows men to use the womens dressing room is fraught with problems, stated Mathew Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. This policy will cause significant problems and will alienate the majority of Macys customers.

Got news for you monkey boy. You allow some perverted freak into a dressing room area where I am and you will get your ass sued off!
Careful. Someone copied Mr. Robinson in on another thread because I said almost the same thing. It’s almost as if people believe that an employer such as myself doesn’t have the right to determine customer service policies in his own business.
She violated company policy. End of story. You don’t have to like company policy, but if you’re an employee, you disregard it at your own risk. That’s my libertarian view, for what it’s worth.
San Antonio— I seem to recall the Spanish raised the Christian Cross in that region before it became part of the
American system. Yet recently a University in San Antonio
required a tower be razed to remove small image of the cross.
Funny how whenever a system begins to promote the reprobate—that religion is cast down? Just thinking San Antonio is home of the Alamo which began as a Catholic Mission - yet now the city — like ancient Jerusalem -in the days of the prophets— now San Antonio has gone whoring after other gods. Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.as it is written eh?
Thank you both for your reply. I have not been into a Macy’s in probably a decade, I think there is one in a town nearby, though.
“If I’m not expecting a man in the dressing area, it would be quite a shock to see one walk in and change clothes.”
That is totally understandable, and I think the only reason Macy’s is pandering is to not incur the wrath of the ACLU et al. We truly live in a sad say in age (but I must say, not entirely unprecedented, historically).
They would even like to change the name of some places, such as Providence RI, or Bethlehem PA. The separation they will experience, as well as who have not been born again by faith in the Lord Jesus out of poor and contrite heart, is that of the Lake of fire, sadly so.
It is true that you disregard company policy at your own risk, but this is not an issue as to whether an entity has a right to make policy, but that of an employee violating an immoral aspect of policy, which many noble souls have done as a matter of principled dissent.
Obedience to man is always conditional on obedience to God as revealed in the Scriptures, and which requires submission to the laws of man in general, but not unconditional obedience which cults enjoin, while on the other extreme you have anarchist and those whose disobedience is based on ignoble principles.
<Freedom not Sodom!
There's freedom in America, the land of the red white and blue; but there still must be laws, things you just can't do.
You can't marry your sister, your brother, or the family pet; a sheep, or a goat - at least not yet!
That how is it with homosexuality, what the Bible calls sodomy; men lying with men as with women, is perversity!
That they're not designed that way, tis easy to perceive, but yielding to sinful desires, man is soon deceived.
A moral wrong is not a civil right; like the sin itself, that's confusion; calling evil good and exchanging light for darkness, is sure delusion!
History tells us where this will lead, from societies now in dust, When a nation casts off the laws of God, and follows it's own lusts.
Promoting a sin which sends one to Hell from an early grave, dishonors God and robs man of the Life He gave.
There's but one answer: the Risen Jesus gave Himself for our sins; Repent and believe, then truly follow Him! |
It could also get our daughters raped or killed. The thought that Macy's would allow a grown man to share the same fitting rooms with underage girls is enough to convince me never to shop there.
the employee was probably one of them “a Christian”.
I just read about this case in my mailing from Concerned Women for America. As usual the just person had to pay the price for this travesty. But I wondered if Macy’s would be willing to post it’s cross-dresser friendly policies on its front door? I hope someone with gumption in the state legislature or city government makes a law requiring all businesses that allow cross dressers to use public dressing rooms and bathrooms to be required to post a warning sign at the entrance to their business.
Macy’s customers are mostly women, I am sure that the politcially correct hypocrits at Macy’s would balk at putting such a warning sign on their doors because they know it would scare away a lot of their customers but they want to kowtow to the homo community while keeping their customers in the dark regarding their policies.
