Chinese on Thanksgiving? Would not fly in my house, as my son requires mashed potatoes and turkey. Frankly Chinese on Thanksgving would not bother me in the slightest.
It might be odd if nothing was said ahead of time about the non traditional nature of the meal, but beyond that, no problem for me.
It is not the turkey, the gravy, the mashed, the sweets the cranberries that make the holiday. It is the surrounding of yoruself with friends and family and the giving of thanks that matters. JMO.
