Teddy was a “Progressive” which means socialist. So if Newt is a Teddyite it means he is a socialist.
Oy Teddy Roosevelt was not a socialist, period. Going on about TR and using him as the measure of villifying modern candidates is an exercise in historical fantasy.
Reminds me of all the articles by people who know nothing of Roman history, claiming the Roman Empire collapsed because their cups had lead, and it weakened their bone mass. Maybe we should ask republican candidates which Roman emperor they identify with.
