No, Newt Gingrich is shaping up to be the lesser of two evils, and not by much. The man is a flip-flopping RINO and an opportunist who will say and do anything to get elected. He has no morals and no compunction against getting into bed with flaming liberals when it suits him. He can not be trusted, and I think that it is the height of foolishness to sweep his RINO record under the rug and to proclaim him as the savior of both the GOP and the country.
Period.
Nobody is proclaiming any such thing or sweeping anything under the rug. Newt's most ardent supporters realize that he is a mixed bag of positives and negatives.
But here's the thing: absent a highly-unlikely comeback from Perry, Bachmann, or Santorum, the GOP primaries are now a two-man race.

Right. I do not understand why Herman Cain would be driven from the race, and Newt elevated to the front of the pack! Newt has cheated on two wives and the American public. I guess the younger kids don’t know his history. I am sure the Dems are dying for Newt to face the family man, Obama.
