Though I don’t support Huntsman (my final decision after spending this season undecided is that I have no one to vote for, only people to vote against), I am perplexed by the level of disdain for him around here. He is no more or less conservative than the current “conservative” superstar newt Gingrich.

He can’t open his mouth without flinging an insult our way.

Yeah, well, I for one, am not supporting Gingrich either. Until Gingrich can explain why and how is a rock solid conservative given his history, I’m not voting for him either.

Huntsman could conceivably get some traction, but he’s a dweeb.

Michael Dukakis without the helmet.

He needs to be combative. In Obama’s face.

And a bit more assertive about trade. He was Ambassador to the world’s biggest trade cheat.

So where is he on the trade issue? ABSENT. He needs to get with the program, and be PRO-AMERICAN.

They he’ll get support. He doesn’t stand for anything.

Huntsman would destroy obama. Obama picked him for china ambassadorship to get him out of the way for 2012.

I don’t remember Huntsman helping to balance the budget four years, or his contract with America,or winning back the congress for the first time in 40 years........Newt has certainly had his stupid moments but if he is judged by his overall record he ain’t that bad.

At least Gingrich doesn’t look down on his own potential voters.
