who has the earliest prediction that Cain would endorse Gingrich? Here’s Nov 11.

Gingrich / Cain = McCain / Thompson

Even though Gingrich is not in any way tea party, Cain is sure to endorse.

Much like Fred endorsed McCain 4 years ago.

Fool me once ...

Recent poll showed Gingrich surging with many of the Tea Party voters. Also, check this out..

http://www.reteaparty.com/2011/11/17/poll-watcher-gingrich-rides-tea-party-surge-obama-trails-romney-in-n-h/
Gingrich rides tea party surge — Newt Gingrich has climbed above 20 percent support for the first time in CNN/ORC and Fox News polls released this week, two points shy of Mitt Romney in the CNN poll and holding a non-significant one-point edge in the Fox poll. Gingrich’s support peaks at 35 percent among tea party supporters in the Fox poll, twice as many who supported him in October (17 percent).
Despite catapulting to the top tier, just 8 percent of Republican primary voters in the Fox poll say Gingrich is the most likeable candidate. Romney (26 percent) and Herman Cain (25) lead on this measure. Experience may overwhelm charm. Nearly eight in 10 Republicans say Gingrich has the experience to serve effectively as president, compared with just 47 percent who say the same about former frontrunner Cain. Gingrich is also seen as the most trustworthy candidate with nuclear weapons, another indicator that he is seen as a seasoned operator.

Another high profile Tea Party endorsement for Newt
Tea Party Nation founder Judson Philips announced today in a blog post that he is endorsing Newt Gingrich for President.
In his post, Philips outlines his criteria for choosing a candidate:

In choosing who is my candidate, there are some criteria I look at. First, the candidate must be electable. We can have the best candidate in the world but if they are unelectable, it does not matter. The candidate must be conservative... Finally, the candidate must have the vision to put forward plans to dismantle the massive government bureaucracy that we have seen grow under both Republican and Democrat administrations.

And Olson of the Columbia, SC Tea Party endorses Newt

Vice Chairman of the Columbia TEA Party David Hartfield is temporarily leading the organization after Chairman Allen Olson stepped down earlier this week.
The board of directors will elect a new chairman soon, Olson said.
Olson announced Tuesday that he is endorsing former U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich for president. Read Olson’s endorsement letter here.
