Which of the candidates have a military service background? I know Perry does. I think Ron Paul was in the Army but I'm not sure if he fought for the North or the South.

Actually, Ron Paul was a flight surgeon in the USAF from 1963-65 and served in the National Guard afterward. Yes, he served our country, and I appreciate that. However, he is too far out now.
