You can’t lie and say he was always a conservative. No real conservative supported ultra-lib Gore.

Yep, some people forget that during Occupy Naval Observatory, while we were chanting "Out of Cheney's house!" with our stylish Sore-Loserman signs, Rick Perry was supporting the other guy. That's not ancient history to me. So IMO, Rick Perry = Boooooooo!!!
Perry ran Gore’s campaign for President in 1988 in Texas.
You need to read up on Gore in 1988. He lost primarily for opposing Jesse Jackson’s anti-Israel stance.
Secondly, Perry was not a “big” supporter of Al Gore. All of the Dem reps signed on one day, but Perry never really did any campaigning for Gore and said he voted for Bush.
