Why would a 30 year-old math professor from China apply to an undergraduate university math department in the US? What would he have to gain?

Right, sorry... I meant to say the 18-yr-old American student is going to face unfair competition and cheating by PRC enrollees from the moment he enters the university. If he sticks around long enough and goes to graduate school, he will find himself in class with Chinese math professors,or physics professors, or engineering professors, etc.
