Cain's main selling point is that he represents something better than the average politician.

Yeah, a man of God that seems to take the bible literally regarding alms giving, which you conveniently avoided addressing. :)

This admission to me shows he isn't in the department of being forthcoming.

Or that he doesn't feel a need to blab about his alms giving or blab about things that may have been told to him as a confidante. That happens a lot to Ministers.

Hopefully today we will know more.

I must have missed the section in the Bible about not telling your wife about such. One can give alms while still making sure your wife will not get surprised by later revelations - especially when you plan to run for president and know you will be scrutinized to the nth degree.
