In the 15th Century, “Lady Justice” was introduced wearing a blindfold. Her sightlessness was meant to represent objectivity, in that justice is or should be meted out without fear or favor, regardless of identity, money, power or weakness. Blind justice and impartiality should be the goal.

For six unrelenting weeks, Mr. Cain has been the target of attacks on his character. His accusers have yet to prove anything, yet the man has been judged guilty in the court of public opinion without even a semblance of a fair trial.

We the people must demand a more just political process. If someone is going to talk about another person’s character, they must have irrefutable proof and not just their word. The people should demand this and so should the media. A political campaign should address the many troubling issues facing the nation and not have to waste its resources defending meaningless allegations.
We must demand that the media reports on the issues, and let us see the platforms of the candidates. In the face of these attacks, on Mr. Cain and other presidential hopefuls, I’m inclined to find that Tabloid Justice is indeed blind, but far from objective.

Point understood, (the first time) and don't have a real problem with the word "alleged". Just wanted to clarify the "documented" reply.
I did respond, you just didn’t like my answer. Alms/charity are money or donations freely given at will. PAYMENTS are money owed at specific times.
FNC reporting Herman Cain may make his appearance in as little as 15 minutes.

It doesn't matter if it was his own money, or church money. My late Mother helped people who came to her church in a time of need with her own money.
Would you want your pastor putting your business in the streets whether he helped you out with church plate funds or his own money? What's the difference? None.
You know obama and the rats are setting on the edge of their chair, watching, terrified that Mr. Cain will stay in it and win it!

He was doing ok and overcoming the early liars, but this last one did him in. Hope she got paid off well, because I doubt she will see another penny from her former benefactor.
I have to tell you that I actually have more than one female friend that I've helped out financially for at least 20 years and my wife is completely unaware of that help. One is a former Sunday School teacher of mine and the other was someone I worked with as a mentor in my early 20’s. I haven't felt the need to disclose that information to my wife as I feel no guilt in both the friendship or the help.
You on the other hand have done exactly what this whole attack was suppose to do. Run to assumption. The alleged salaciousness of it all is to much of a tasty morsel not to chew swallow and regurgitate on then admitting you simply don't know the facts.
There is something about character to be considered and this woman shows up this past week with a very “checkered” past of questionable behavior. It just doesn't add up and in my opinion if he was half the dog you suggest through assumption he would have already pulverized her with the classic he said she said routine and slid in some digs but he keeps saying she was just a friend. Almost trying to protect her as if he knows she may walk a fine line of sanity.
You can take the road to assumption on this one if you like. I'll go with a very odd feeling that she is desperate for money and she's just one of those low life we encounter who would probably sell out her own family for a few pieces of silver if she was very desperate. The one thing I do know is no matter how she presents it she is no friend.
Accounting 101. Learn it. Live it. Love it.
Help me out with this one. The recipients of your money (should you ever choose to run for President) may have a “very ‘checkered’ past of questionable behavior,” but you are beyond repproach?
Cain’s “suspension of his campaign” will only embolden the liberal smear machine to go out and commit similar acts of personal destruction against the other candidates. Liberals cannot just settle for defeating their opponents politically; the MUST destroy them personally.
The left cannot settle for political victory. They NEED top destroy their opponents’ lives. Otherwise, they’re never completely satisfied.
Liberalism is founded in contempt for other people, thus the need to destroy people personally if they poke their head above water. Especially minorities, whom the libs view as their property. Literally.
What do you want to bet Cain’s campaign rakes in money in large amounts over the next several days?
