I completely disagree.

If he's guilty, run home to his wife to do damage control, to spin it, to get in front of it.

If he's innocent, keep on the campaign trail, honor your committments to the hosts and vendors and supporters at the rallys and speaking engagements, and schedule time to properly meet with his wife and family to plan the path forward. (Have you seen how angry fans get when a music band/group cancels a concert? LOL)

If anything, this shows he is not a knee-jerk kind of decision-maker, and he cannot be swayed by every innuendo that is thrown out there.
