I note you are from Illinois. I checked the laws of your state and it is legal to serve papers on a 13 year old family member. It struck me as odd. Most states 15 or above. Anyway, the service process was legal. And this barbecuing of Cain may be legal, but it sure as hell is wrong!
Why-—as if we put a “fork” in Clinton? He just got a huge throne—no fork and he did much, much worse that anything Cain could even conceive of.
Teddy Kennedy????? Killing people he has affairs with?????
Cain has sound principles (he is not perfect, but he knows that which makes him the wisest of all). Cain feels shame. Democrats don’t—in fact, they do despicable things to other people and call it “love”, pro-choice, alternative “lifestyle”. Yet, it is gross and evil.
We are allowing the Media to destroy Cain and form our “perceptions”. That is all the political game is——perceptions. Don’t allow the MEDIA FOR PETE”S SAKE TO DECIDE WHO YOU VOTE FOR.
THEY will make sure it is a socialist/Marxist/Progressive “thinker” in the vein of McCain or W. The MSM picked McCain and W and Dole and forced Bush Sr. on Reagan—they were their One Worlders. So is Newt. He is part of the establishment to destroy everything that made America great.
Cain and Bachmann are not plants so the MSM will destroy them—if the useful idiots allow them to.
My wife and I volunteered to work on his campaign. If you saw the horrid mess his campaign was in even before these allegations you wouldnt be looking to him to clean up any mess.
I call them useful idiots for Axelrod.
Thanks for the links
Have you thought about Santorum? I know his chances are bleak, but he has less baggage.
It has nothing to do with naïveté. I am an attorney, and I am constantly faced with the dilemma of who to believe. I have learned from experience that even the most persuasive accounts by the most sincere-sounding witnesses must be held to a rigorous standard of proof, especially where a person’s reputation is at stake, because even honest-faced people lie.
Why be so tough about proof in defamation? Because a good reputation is gold in the bank, a treasure worth protecting. It is a grant of power to act and be trusted. It enlarges a person. To lose it is to lose somewhat the power to live. To lose it to a deliberate lie is analogous to murder. It is the reason, I believe, why “bearing false witness” is included in the 10 Commandments. It is among the most basic and important precepts in a free society, that we should be truthful and careful with other people’s reputations.
Therefore, having seen the same evidence as everyone else, I conclude that Mr. Cain may have erred in keeping his charitable behavior a secret, even from his wife, but that it portends nothing but a kindly interest in helping a woman who was constantly begging him for money. People do that to millionaires. I’ve been in some estate situations where even worse behavior has manifested itself. Money can be a motivator to all manner of spiritual perversity, even in the heart of a poor person. I have seen it before, and this is what I think I see now in the Cain situation.
In any event, I am sorry you think you must denigrate those who bring a different set of life experiences to the table. I for one can assure you I am not a refugee from DU. Reaganite to the bone, for decades. I just don’t like slander. Period. Pretty simple, really.
A period of time will go by, sometimes months, even years, without a peep from them. Then they will have another "emergency." Sometimes you just have to cut them off.
Ms White seems like the down and out type. Lin Wood mentioned the number of text messages she made in addition to the ones she made to Herman Cain. It appears she had a network of people who gave her money.
Some down and outs are not faithful friends. They would do anything for money. It looks like White was paid to betray a faithful friend who helped her out financially. It wouldn't surprise me if one day she calls him up again to help pay her bills. It is a different mindset. That kind doesn't have a conscience.
