The point is, that she would have been in as good a position as anyone to have heard the scuttlebutt and talked with the women involved, had Herman Cain actually been a misbehaver. I’m inclined to think the troubled women who have complained are more likely to have wished that the handsome (especially decades ago) Herman Cain had chased their skirts, than to have experienced it.

Sorry, I'm not buying that for a second. The allegations against Cain are pretty sordid and seamy. That's not the kind of thing you share with your church lady friends. No way. She's the last person who would have been in the know...except for his wife.
