An anonymous Iowa group Iowans for Christian Leaders in Government is circulating a letter slamming Newt Gingrichs marital infidelities and warning Bob Vander Plaats, a top Iowa social conservative, that his group better not back the former House Speaker.
Vander Plaats is perhaps the most well-known social conservative in the state, and his group plans to endorse either Gingrich, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum or Michele Bachmann for president. His groups endorsement could be key for any Republican looking to unite evangelicals, who make up a large part of the Republican base in Iowa, against Mitt Romney.
The letter comes as polling shows Gingrich surging in the presidential race. An Insider Advantage poll out Tuesday showed Gingrich with a 15-point lead in the early caucus state.

That should read a bought and paid for insider advantage poll, we deliver the results you want,
It makes sense for Christians to complain about a strictly Christian org wanting to endorse Gingrich.
yuck!!!

Santorum or Bachman should be way ahead of Newt.
“An anonymous Iowa group Iowans for Christian Leaders in Government”
Who are it’s leaders and it’s members?
I'll believe they are who they say they are when they show their faces.
Yeah,, Maybe if we were voting for a pope or minister. Remember, Jimmy Carter was a great, non-cheating, never-divorced family man.
If people are looking to elect a Pope, they should move to Rome.
As a further example,,,i’ve never heard of Romney being unfaithful, but i cannot imagine a worse repub candidate. While their marriage is certainly something to consider,, it’s third or fourth on the list.
well said.
Who are you supporting, org.whodat?
They aren’t and probably won’t until the media tears up all the candidates and we are left with Paul oh god no!
“Goldie-locks and the three bears. Or is that the seven dwarfs. And whats her name. Maybe it was a wolf and grandma???”
Nope. None of the above.
So, who are ya supporting?
I agree. Michelle should be way up by now. Rick just can’t get traction.
Seems more and more to me that Sarah Palin is the only one who could come to this fight with truly conservative credentials and very little baggage.
Just stirring the pot LOL!
Mel
Probably not anybody that lives in Iowa.
That’s pretty easy to figure out. He and Fred are obama boys. The obama camp is terrified of Newt because they see the butt whoppin Newt is gonna Put on them in 2012. They have to try to stop him by discouraging repub. voters.
But, I “ain’t” gonna work.
All u obama boys better be ready for the “BUTT WHOPPIN” that’s coming. Post away obama juniors. lol
Ron Paul troll Ill bet.
