Am wondering too; will this be sitting in next bin; next to hamburger in the meat case at grocery? Will the Gov decide that it is more healthy; and promote horse meat and serve this in schools for health benefits? The 'horse' is as close to a 'sacred cow' as we can get. So; IMHO; an altogether disgusting development.

Can only imagine the law suits and 'issues' when people find that the meat served up; was not what it was supposed to be and we are all on alert for 'buyer beware'.

This is a good law, the situation at present was a horrid tragedy, especially since the recession hit hard and the number of wild horses being adopted in BLS auctions had plummeted.

Congress should never have whored themselves out to the PETA crowd in the first place, sanity wins over the short sighted Utopianism of emotionally unstable “animal lovers”.
