A false accusation in front of the judge can lead to murder by proxy. As I recall, one widely publicised case like that happened around 33 AD; a generally neutral state power was used to carry out a personal agenda. Similar problems are plentiful in our days.

The attackers of Mr. Cain are very careful to use a little bit of truth in every accusation. The nature of the truthful part may be completely irrelevant, but once Mr. Cain has to confirm that ("Yes, I was staying in Holiday Inn on that day") then the attacker can pile tons of lies on top of that.
About the telephone bill problem. Bills change often, usually because marketing wants a new layout for some stupid reason. Nobody can remember how a phone bill looked like a year ago, let alone a decade ago. Phone companies print bills on regular paper using more or less common laser printers. Anyone can print a "bill" if she is willing to spend a few hours duplicating it in Adobe Illustrator. The bait will be the same - a few true texts to or from Mr. Cain. Then the number of texts is increased from 6 to 60 or something. No reasonable person can remember how many texts were sent to a specific person a year ago. A businessman may send hundreds of them per day to all kinds of people (it's not his choice who to talk to.) It takes an agenda to dig up or to print a phone bill and then go and try to hurt someone who, as the claim goes, "loved her."
Regardless, a sentient voter shouldn't even pay attention to these matters. Hardly any of these accusations affect the ability of a person to command the country. Chastity shouldn't be a requirement for the position; a reasonably faithful family life will suffice. However the media found a lucrative racket for themselves. Please them, in one way or another, and you become "a teflon candidate." Displease them and you will be made unelectable. A dead girl in the candidate's bed is no longer required - ten live ones in front of cameras do the job just as well.
This woman could be a stalker.

I like Herman Cain and pray that these accusations are not true.

Yes, certainly lying can lead to murder and lying can destroy one’s character, but lying does not release the soul from the body. Murder does. They’re both sin under God’s law, but are not the same sin.
I thought he was done after seeing the headline, but 61 calls or TEXTS to/from his phone is garbage. Heck you can send 20 texts and say next to nothing...it’s only 130 characters max.
Lots of questions. I don’t know the answer, and I don’t know anything about Ms. White beyond what’s been printed in these stories, so I don’t want to bash her, but I do have a lot of questions.
And if this one doesn’t work, the next thing they’ll try is having a little mixed-race girl run up the aisle on camera at a speaking event, crying, “Daddy! Daddy! Why don’t you come visit me and Momma any more? We miss you!”
