I have been scanning the posts since I saw this thread late so I haven't kept track of all of the back and fourths, but this line jumped out at me:

For what it is worth, if Cain is hiding a sordid past, which is coming out anyway, then Cain, as your candidate, has stuck a knife in your back much more so than anything Newt's ever done to you.

As a Cain supporter, I could not agree with you more (if the allegations turn out to be true). Alas, it would not be the first time a politician threw it all away.

But I am not going to throw him under the bus, I will stand with him because I believe he is being slandered. He can throw himself under the bus if the allegations are true.

Right now it is too easy to destroy ANY of our candidates with only accusations. If Cain goes, another target will be selected by the libs. We better be prepared for the next attack, true or untrue.

I hope the allegations are just that only. If it turns out that Cain has engaged in such conduct, then he has sunk his campaign and has no one else to blame. Until evidence surfaces, not just allegations, I think you are right to stick by Cain. Allegations are easy to make, and liberals are pro's at the art of lies.
