His campaign has done great damage to the GOP brand and has distracted this whole election process away from Obama and Romney. Very sad.

I would say the GOP has probably been instrumental in damaging Mr. Cain’s campaign, rather than the other way around.

Oh spare me. I am sure Herman Cain's campaign did not plant these allegations!
Very sad indeed that Newt gets a pass on his actual adultery and sexual romps with interns over the years.
What goes around comes around - Newt is not out of the woods yet!

Newt was screwing his staff assistant Calista for 6 years while legally married. Another black mark on GOP candidates?

What do you mean? We're not discussing the candidate's character. We giving credence to a liberal political dirty tricks operation. If he did all that - why wait 13 years to come forward with the truth? As the Romans would say - qui bono? Who benefits? The American people are not interested in Cain's sex life and the media seems to have a hearing problem. Which does not reflect poorly on the GOP brand but rather on the media itself.
