This can still be only allegations. That is, unless she recorded them! For all we know, she was only a friend of the family, and he was merely keeping in touch! Unless she kept momentos, receipts, etc.. If it’s true, his wife must be a terribly clueless woman!
It still doesn’t explain why she didn’t come up with this when he was running for the Senate, or when those other women were blabbing about the harassment incidents! He’s been out of the ‘hot seat’ as far as the polls go, but I don’t see why this woman/women would come out with this now, and not before when he was so high up?
Cain should be fine. Newt had several affairs and is adored on FR by some- and the polls.
Who knows how this came out. Perhaps someone who knew about it rather than her? I would think that if it went on that long there was someone other than her who knew. Hotel desk clerks, one of her old friends with a grudge? Who knows?
