ATLANTA, Ga. - An Atlanta businesswoman is breaking her silence, claiming she has been involved in a 13-year-long affair with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain.
Over the Thanksgiving weekend, FOX 5 senior I-Team reporter Dale Russell sat down with Ginger White, who had an amazing story to tell.

I totally agree that cheating on one's wife is despicable. It's just that I'm bright enough to know that an accusation does not a sin make.

I’ve been for Perry since he declared. I was quite fond of Cain at one time, but then he attacked my candidate with no basis in fact. It was not a nice thing to do.
I never believed the first stories that came out about the harassment charges filed. I figured they were nothing.
I was skeptical about the Gloria Allredd client.
And I don’t know about this latest woman, but it doesn’t look good right now.
You gotta admire the Cain supporters for their loyalty. I feel bad for them ... most of them, that is.
A few Cain supporters are not people I want to associate with but I’m sure they’re in the minority of Cain supporters.
Uh Oh....wonder how his democratic wife is going to handle this one...which appears he had some sort of “friendship” with this gal and heloed her finacially.
I don’t know about his wife but I’ll tell you what..if my husband had a girl-friend he was finacially supporting in any way without informing me until it hits the press... there’s just no way I’d believe there wasn’t something going on!

I agree that at this point it sounds like a smear. Leno, Letterman and others have been going like crazy after Bachmann and Cain. When they run out of topics, they just repeated the same attacks. And it is the most vicious personal attacks. Some thought they will go whoever is the front runner among the GOP. So far, however, they have not gone after Newt with the same obsessive hatred.

However, are you saying that it’s okay if Cain had an affair with this woman as long as he didn’t harass the other women?
That’s a pretty weak denial by bulldog Lin Wood. It sounds a lot more like a defense of consensual behavior between a man and hs longtime mistress.
Concentrating on all this woman’s financial problems and flaws does not make her a liar and does not make it okay to have an affair with her.
All it would take is for her or the person that put her up to it to have a friend call the news media with the tip.
That way it looks like she did not insert herself into the spotlight. That is so simple and so easy and so likely that it boggles the mind that so many here do not get it.
As for your remark about the woman's character and past record, it would be funny if it were not so dumb.
Here you pillory Cain for a rumored lack of character but defend a woman with proved lack of character.

Okay. It hasn’t been proven. It’s just an allegation.
(I’m sure you saw my comments regarding “potential” character flaws, right? Not saying they’re so; but there ARE some potential problems.)
However, there are people on this board who have flat-out said they don’t care if they are true. There are some who have said even if they saw pictures of Cain with a goat, they’d still vote for him.
THAT’s who I’m talking about. I’m talking about people who are putting Cain on the same level as Clinton, et al, saying that if their guy can do it, why can’t ours? Saying, “Hey! Where’s the same level of scrutiny of Obama?”
Right. I get it. Obama wasn’t vetted. And he’s not going to be. But to get to the point where we start glossing over ethical and moral problems because he’s OUR guy doesn’t serve the “conservative” viewpoint very well, now does it?
Really, think about it...if that’s really what’s happening, it doesn’t represent very well, does it?
Leave out the truth of the allegations. Let’s even agree to assume they’re false and simply a smear.
Does it really fit our “conservative” principles to have people say that even if it’s true, we’ll support him? That even if we saw pictures of him with a goat, we’ll support him? That it doesn’t matter what a man does in his personal life...no matter what, we’ll support him? Because he’s OUR guy?
And as far as the “Perrybots” (your cute little respectful term for those who support a candidate not your own), hopefully none of the real Perry supporters would say that if the allegations were true, no matter what, even if we had pics of him with a goat...we’d support him.

They do matter, to a degree. But if you want somebody who is faithful to their wife, and without any hint of scandal, you can wind up with somebody like Jimmy Carter, who sucked as a President.
