It’s called “the internet” dude. In the old days the press could squelch stories like this. There was a gentleman’s agreement to do so (for both Repubs and Dems). You can’t do that with the Internet.
I suggest an emergency campaign fund appeal Team Cain when more and more comes out on this woman and the trail leads back to whomever ginned up the mud to be thrown. It rolled in the bucks in the past and it can work again in the future. Turn negatives into positives. Always. This is how you defeat a hidden, nameless, dangerous, relentless enemy under a rock such as this. It is like painting over gang graffiti the moment it occurs. You do that enough over and over and pretty soon they get the message and move on to another neighborhood. Now is the time for Team Cain to show the resiliency of the past and do the same thing in response (i.e. "fundraiser"). Soon they, these little pissant political dirty tricksters, will back off and pick on Huntsman or Johnson or somebody else (though they represent only the fraction of an unprecedented national political threat that Herman Cain does--that is why they are doing it in the first place).

I get text messages and email spam by the hundreds. Does that mean I am involved with any of these people?
So people with any sense of decency and fairness, and let the shoe fit whom it may, will wait until they see the contents of the text messages and whether they were replied to and if so how.
An whether there were in fact any flight and hotel reservations and if so who rode in the seats and who stayed in the hotel.
Until you see these, speculation is childish blubbering.
And for the sanctimonious Perrybots, if Perry had more than single digits he would soon be confronted with some half naked porn star claiming he banged her.
The only reason he has not had the treatment is that he did not stay at the top long enough to be a factor.
Frankly, I would take him over either Newt or Romney, but that may never be a choice.

Romney, happily married for 32 years to one woman, five children, has grandchildren, not a cheater. Gingrich, married 3 times, 2 divorces, cheated on prior wives while still married. Is now married to the last one he cheated with. Compare and contrast.
I certainly do not wish you anger anyone, but this one concerns me greatly. There is something about this that to me, and I realize it’s early, seems sincere.
I am more than worried about Mr. Cain and hope my instincts are wrong about his ability to tell the truth.

Cain has been my favorite of the second string since Palin decided not to run but this is too much. It’s up to him now to prove he’s innocent. And no parsing of words. That’s a Bill Clinton tactic.
If Romney somehow gets the nomination, he will lose, no matter how many lifetimes he’s been married to one woman. Plenty of leftists have been married to one woman for decades.
