Well, with the post clock still running several minutes fast, it's an indicator that all is NOT fixed -- it's my experience that once the clock hits 9 or 10 minutes into the future the multi-day breakdowns are imminent.
IIRC John is experimenting with time travel - as one way to defeat evil in our time - or their time - whichever comes first.
Being early confuses the libs - they have no idea if we can read their future minds - (which are on the half moon and not yet on solar e-clips).
