We don’t exactly “fund” their tuition, they pay the same rate as Texas residents, but anyway. Look at it this way, your state is not exactly a shining beacon of economic prosperity. Even your legal citizens are leaving and a lot of them are coming to Texas. We save some serious dollars by allowing a select group of young Mexicans to apply for citizenship and attend our schools at in-state tuition rates. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see Perry has a record of creating jobs and prosperity, and the Feds should be ashamed they haven’t helped him secure the border.

According to the Heritage Foundation the in state tuition program costs Texas taxpayers 80 - 100 million per year.

I hope you also realize that by offering such a program to illegals, Perry is violating federal law.
