An 18-year-old is dead after he reportedly took his own life outside Mission Friday night.
Family of Joaquin Luna told Action 4 News the teen left behind suicide letters explaining he took his own life, because he was an illegal immigrant and would never be able to attend college because of it.
Family said Friday night the teen dressed up in a suit and tie, kissed them, then went into the restroom and shot himself in the head.

I don’t get it. He lives in Texas. Not only could he have gone to college, he could’ve gotten in-state tuition rates at the taxpayer’s expense.
I certainly hope the parents who brought these innocent children here take notice of this and return home before their kids do the same thing.

One of Luna’s older brothers said the teen would often get frustrated when filling out the immigration status section in college applications.
Umm...this has to be the worst reason EVER for taking ones own life (not that there are any good reasons). I would say “shame on all of you” for using this troubled kids death for political spin. If anything his parents should feel very bad for entering this country illegally and rolling the dice on how it would impact their children.

I must be misunderstanding something here. Illegals CAN go to college in Texas. They even get in state tuition! This article is a huge LIE, OR the kid killed himself over something that wasn’t even true. He probably heard it on PMSNBC.
Why would he get frustrated with filling out an English appliction, if he’d been learning the language in school for the previous 12 years?

Just curious, but what if he would have stayed in Mexico and killed himself there for the same reasons? Would anybody give a rat’s ass? Would it even be new worthy there?
Those are rhetorical questions because we all know the answer is “NO”.
Sorry, but no tears are being shed for Senior Luna out here in California. We already have quarter of Mexico’s population living here, going to school, living in Section 8 housing, getting tax refunds, free medical care, food stamps, WIC, and damn every other government benefit on our dime. I don’t give a sh!t.
Just one less, free-loading, self-entitled illegal alien to worry about. Now, if we could just get the other 20 million illegal aliens to either do the same thing or self-deport back to the hell-holes that spawned them.
Final question: If Mexico is such a great place, why don’t these poor illegal aliens go back there and fight for the entitlements, rights, priveledges and benefits they demand from us here in the USA?
