Alexander Tsiaras, an image-maker and the author of the book From Conception to Birth: A Life Unfolds, gave a recently-published TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) talk, during which he unveiled a spectacular video about fetal development.
Alexander Tsiaras's book, "From Conception to Birth: A Life Unfolds"
The video, which graphically shows the process of human progression, begins by showing an egg being fertilized and ends by illustrating a babys actual birth. Throughout the clip, viewers see the full fetal development, with explanations about what, exactly, is happening at each phase. But the imagery is spellbinding.
Watch the astounding video, below. The actual sequence of a fetus development begins at 2:05, with Tsiaras explaining the development process both before and after the clip:

What you're saying is true, when it comes to phenotype and gene expression or suppression: the on/off switches. But the statement is still true that you're still the same "person" at every age: zygote, embryo, fetus, neonate, toddler, tweener, teen, or even a geron like me. This is using "person" to mean an identifiable entity with its own life processes, who is a member of the human species.
These processes involve changes every day, or I could even say every minute. But no such change of aggregate of changes negates "personhood" as a category cmprising every man, every woman and all their offspring. Even twinning can be conceptualized in a way that demonstrates the continuity of person.

Only if you are okay with killing a person. An embryo, at any stage, is a person and a human life.

Nowhere in the video does it say that abortion is OK. In fact, his clip calls every stage, from conceptus to embryo to fetus, simply the “baby.”
