A North Carolina hillbilly here. It says I have a Midland accent. I grew up in the military, moving all over the place. But folks tell me I’ve got a Southern accent.
You sound a bit like my mom. Her dad was in the navy so they moved all over the place. After living in VA for a while they moved to New Jersey where she got teased at school for her ‘southern accent.’
