Thanks for the link. Wish I had found FR sooner. Was blown away when Obama got elected and did a search for conservative sites and joined up. What a wealth of info and great people. Wish FR was 'required reading' for all voters. Now wouldn't that be something!

An anecdote for you....to point out EXACTLY how long this has been going on.
Back in college from 1968-72, one of the most active socialist professors on my campus was an English professor.
One day, I eavesdropped on a conversation he was having with some of his useful idiot disciples. During that conversation, I specifically remember him saying that the the socialist movement had been using the consumer movement for years to advance its agenda..but that the future for advancing socialism lay in the environmentalist movement..which was just getting started. The very first “Earth” Day was observed in 1970.
This has been going on for a hell of a longer time than 2002.
