Gov. Perry's Fed Up! book was released in 2010. It was interesting to see Neut "borrow" Mr. Cain's Chilean/Galveston social security lines, too.
FYI...Mr. Cain has also been touting the Fair Tax since at least 2006 :)
Speaker Gingrich presumably read “Fed Up!,” since he wrote the introduction.
Both the flat tax and the private investments for retirement investments are well known and have been discussed at least since I became aware of such things in the late ‘70’s.
Nevertheless, the Galveston retirement scheme, along with similar plans noted to be used in a couple of other counties by the Governor in his book, are good examples of a good idea.
