No Newt did not shoot himself in the foot. People would like to see all illegals deported...that’s not going to happen...it’s too late to deport 3o million people without a major uprising from them..they have proven they will do just that and no us government is going to let that happen.
So there has to be a solution to discern the undesirables over those who have made a live here for many years....and deport the rest...I agree with that...but wihs this “invasion” had never been allowed to get to this point. An our government allowed this to take place despite the outcry from it’s citizens.
I’ll bet he didn’t. There are more common sense people in this nation who understand that there is no way this country is going to evict families that have been here for years with multiple generations.
Americans, excluding the pro-ILLEGAL/Perry crowd, don't want to give anything to ILLEGAL aliens. And just like Perry, Newt just doesn't get it.
