I’ve had ugly comments directed at me on Perry threads. It used to really bother me, but I now cope by never responding to those people and trying to ignore them.
I did report abuse on one thread that was particularly infested with vermin and it seemed to slow it down a little but the best thing to do is never engage these people or respond to them at all.
Of course, I fail sometimes ...
Sometimes, I like to bat the worst ones around like a chew toy.
It produces results occasionally. For example, there was one who was going around on threads threatening people who disagreed with him that there was a purge coming that would "make the Romney and Guiliani purges look like a Sunday picnic."
I'd seen this poster doing this on several occasions, and finally, a couple of days ago, he used the same threat on me.
I asked Jim for clarification since he's the boss and would know about such a coming purge of great proportions and Jim wasted no time in shooting that BS down. (In fact, "BS" was the exact phrase he used.)
This particular bully wannabe will not be using that threat on other posters anymore.
